Islamic Community of the Bosniaks in Washington (ICBW)
Islamic community of Bosniaks in Washington is a non for profit religious organization serving the needs of the Bosniak community in the greater Seattle area.
Bosniaks, a South Slavic group of people native to Bosnia and surrounding areas, settled in the Seattle area after the armed Serbian aggression against Bosnian and Herzegovina in the 1990s.
The Bosnian Islamic Center in Shoreline officially opened its doors on March 11, 2011 following three and a half years of construction. It has been built completely in the style of traditional Bosnian neighborhood mosques with an impressive dome and minaret.
